completed "Quartet in D Flat for Strings" in four movements, and
numerous piano etudes and art songs.
In April, 2004 he and Pianist Maria Corley gave several presentations at
The Juilliard School in New York City. This event coincided with the
"grand opening" of the new all-Adams CD, "Twelve Etudes" (Albany

This CD takes its place as a companion to "Love Rejoices: Songs of H.
Leslie Adams" (Albany Records, Catalog Troy428) featuring Darryl Taylor,
tenor, which is in its second edition.
In June, 2002, he had just
completed two new art songs and a sixteenth piano etude. His career is
flourishing, having enjoyed over 50 major performances worldwide since
fall of 2001. His CD, "Love Rejoices: Songs of H. Leslie Adams"
(featuring Tenor Darryl Taylor; Albany Records, #Troy428) was cited by
music critic John Boyer (American Record Guide, 2002) as "Critic's
Choice for One the Best Recordings of 2001." In April, 2002, Adams was
