Other Information:
Dimitris Fampas has been Greece's most celebrated classical guitarist. His artistry reached far beyond the borders of his country and for over thirty-five years he has been considered one of the world's leading performers. His compositions have been very well received inside and outside of Greece. His Greek Dances are particularly popular. His music is skillfully written for guitar, very romantic and lyrical, richly dominated by Greek traditional elements, colors and rhythms, and expresses his love for the guitar and his country.
